- Description
Coratina Contrada Quarto comes from a vast, olive tree filled area of our estate, in the zone that gives this oil its name. To the eye, it appears a bright, intense emerald green. On the nose, a medium fruitiness opens into elegant aromas, with notes of tomato leaf, artichoke, and spice, more contained and refined than the more intense version of the same cultivar. On the palate, the balance between bitter and spicy remains well present but more even, making for a versatile oil suited to everyday use without giving up the character of Coratina.
Even in this gentler expression, Coratina retains its valuable content of antioxidant polyphenols, oleic acid, and vitamin E, the same nutritional richness of the cultivar, in a more understated and balanced form.
Perfect for everyday use in the kitchen, from a drizzle raw over any dish to the most delicate sautés.
